Sanctuary Spa (Gift Set)

Hey dolls ;)

So, I recently received the Sanctuary Spa Covent Garden Gift Set and OH MY GOD. This is literally the most amazing gift set I have got in my life! I had never heard of Sanctuary Spa products until I got this and this is amazing! This will probably be a pretty long review but here goes nothing...

Nail Files
There's not really an awful lot to say here. They're actually pretty good nail files though and are pretty cute. There are two of them and they are small and quite handbag friendly!

Hand Cream
It doesn't quite beat Soap & Glory's Hand Food, but is a very close second! I do love this hand cream, and has a lingering sophisticated scent that I love and leaves your hands soft and hydrated all day long. This is also nice and compact for throwing into your handbag!

Body Lotion
This is so, so good! The body lotion is so amazing and as promised on the tube, awakening. My skin just feels so hydrated and soft all day long and it leaves this gorgeous subtle gingery citrus scent all day. I absolutely love this!

Body Scrub
This body scrub is so exfoliating! It is my definition of the PERFECT body scrub. I personally, like exfoliating scrubs that you can feel, y'know? The little pumice bits are amazing for softening skin and it also smells subtle, yet great! So, so, so recommended!

Body Wash
This is also exfoliating and is just amazing! It feels so refreshing and leaves an extremely subtle lingering citrus scent on your skin, which is also amazingly soft after usage! I love, love, love it!

Luxury Bath Float
Woaaaaaah! Is the only word I can think of to describe this. It just relaxes you so, so much that I can't put it into words. It just smells like heaven! Just.. Just BUY IT! Haha...

Body Butter
The reason I'm finishing up with the body butter is because it is my absolute FAVOURITE product in the set. It says on the tub that it's award winning and I can SO understand why. It just leaves your skin so soft that I can't put it into words and it stays all day! It smells so great! I usually top off this body butter with Soap & Glory's Girligo Moisturising Body Mist to create a subtle girly scent! (In case you haven't already noticed, I am a total S&G junkie!)

Anyway that's what I thought of Sanctuary Spa products and I will most definitely be repurchasing these when I run out!

Dr Spot by Soap & Glory

Hey guys!
Firstly, I apologize for the atrocious picture, but I had to use my webcam, as I left my camera at my friend's house! FAIL :( moving on...

So, I saw Dr Spot in Boots the other day for about £5-10 I think and couldn't resist buying it, as I suffer from breakouts and this looked promising. The box promised me to be invisible and effective. I read up reviews on this product and noticed some people hate it and even threw it out, and others claim it a godsend! I tried it and my first impression was, this is not invisible. When you apply this to a blemish, it leaves a residue that's hard to describe... If you were to apply it all over your face, (obviously you wouldn't) then you would look like you have world's oiliest skin, y'know? That annoys me, but you can however apply a small amount of matte powder (I'm using Rimmel London Stay Matte in Silky Beige)  or concealer (My favourite at the moment it No7 Instant Radiance Concealer) and it should camouflage the stickiness somewhat. I do notice however, that this gel does slightly dry out my spots throughout the day. It's definitely not something I'm going to repurchase, but I will continue to use it until it runs out, as it is alright (I repeat, ALRIGHT) on occasional blemishes. I would not really recommend this though, it's not worth the money and I think if you want an effective spot treatment, steer clear of this.

Soap & Glory's Dr Spot is available in Boots and Soap & Glory's website
